DIY Stain Remover
I stopped buying stain remover years ago. I have found that it is a lot easier to make my own using a hydrogen peroxide mix.
Not only is it cheaper, but it also works better than the store-bought. I love using this hydrogen peroxide trick to get my laundry clean.
Because hydrogen peroxide will kill off germs and viruses you can use hydrogen peroxide to disinfect toothbrushes. I just pull the head off my toothbrush and place it in a small glass.
Pour in enough hydrogen peroxide to cover the bristles. Let it soak for about 5 minutes and then air dry.
This is a great cleaning tip to remember during cold and flu season because it will kill off most flu viruses.

Remove Baked on Grease
One of my favorite tips for cleaning with hydrogen peroxide is removing baked on grease.

You can add a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, dish soap, and baking soda to remove the baked on grease with little to no scrubbing. I am always amazed at how my pans look like new after doing this. Plus, I don’t even have to scrub them!
Clean Your Oven
Cleaning your oven isn’t a fun task. They are greasy and gross, plus you often have to spend so much time scrubbing.
Add in the fumes from some oven cleaners and it becomes almost unbearable.
Luckily you can skip the store-bought oven cleaners and use this hydrogen peroxide mixture instead. It is easier to get your oven clean and it doesn’t make horrible fumes in your home when you use this hydrogen peroxide cleaning tip.
Get Rid of Mold
Want to get rid of mold but don’t want to use bleach? No problem!
To get rid of mold pour hydrogen peroxide into a spray bottle and spray the mold with the hydrogen peroxide.
Let sit for about 10 minutes and then scrub away the mold. Repeat if necessary.
This works great in showers or tubs that have a small amount of mold on the caulk. You will never have moldy showers again with this hydrogen peroxide trick.
Remove Armpit Stains
I hate when white shirts get those nasty yellow armpit stains on them. I am not really sure what causes the yellow armpit stains but this armpit stain remover makes those yellow stains disappear.
The secret in the stain remover? Hydrogen peroxide! It works great and is inexpensive.
