Inside: Trying to save more money? Check out the best things to buy in November to really save. It’s an easy way to save more money without much work.

One of my favorite (and one of the easiest!) ways to save money is by stocking up on foods when the prices are at their lowest. I can buy foods for 50-60% of the regular price. When I see a great price I buy enough to last us a few months.
The best part about stocking up when things are on sale is that it doesn’t take a lot of my time. Just stock up to really save money on your grocery bill. I am able to get my grocery bill to around $50 a week by stocking up and saving.
November is one of my favorite months. I really enjoy getting the time with my family during Thanksgiving. We usually just spend a lot of time at home playing games and of course, eating a lot!
In November we will see plenty of great deals on foods leading up to Thanksgiving, plus some clearance deals after that. Of course, don’t forget about all the Black Friday shopping you can do too. Check out the best things to buy in November to save.
Seasonal Produce To Buy In November
Winter is almost here and there aren’t always a lot of fresh fruits that are in season at this time. However, you will find plenty of pumpkins, winter squash, cranberries, sweet potatoes and pears that are in season.
I like to buy pumpkins after Halloween to freeze. Pumpkins are pretty easy to puree and freeze to use all year long. You can see how to do that here.
Cranberries will be really cheap around the holidays so stock up on frozen cranberries if you use them regularly.
Sweet potatoes are really cheap right before Thanksgiving. They usually will last about a month if stored in a cool place. We love to stock up and make sweet potato biscuits around the holidays.

The holidays are a popular time to do some baking so we will see so many fantastic deals on baking goods. Flour, sugar, yeast, chocolate chips, oil, etc.
I buy all of my baking supplies in November when prices are at the lowest. Check the shelf life of the baking supplies, but most will last a year or longer.
Grocery stores will also be having fantastic deals on canned goods. You can stock up on canned soups and stews for an easy meal.
I can usually find soups for around $.30 a can this time of year. Pick up a bunch for cold winter nights or easy lunches. I love grilled cheese sandwiches and soup during the wintertime. It is an easy meal on busy nights.
Canned vegetables will also be on sale. You can stock up on green beans, corn, and other veggies right around Thanksgiving. Canned vegetables won’t be this cheap until Easter so stock up.
