Slow Cooker Meatball Subs

An easy to make dinner that your whole family will love! In just a few minutes you can prep your dinner and come home that evening to a meaty supper that everyone will appricate.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 Gingersnap Cookies
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 28 Oz. V8 Vegetable Juice
  • 1 Pound Meatballs

Equipment

  • 1 Slow Cooker

Method
 

  1. Add 8-10 gingersnaps in a crockpot.
  2. Next add 1/4 cup vinegar.
  3. Mash up the gingersnaps with a fork.
  4. Add 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic salt and cup of brown sugar.
  5. Next, add 28 oz. of V8 Juice and mix.
  6. Finally add meatballs. Allow to cook on high for about 3-4 hours.
  7. After 3-4 hours turn down to low for about 1 hour. Let cool for about 20 minutes or until thickened.
  8. Serve on a sub with provolone cheese.
