Freezer Pancake Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 beaten egg

Equipment

  • 1 Skillet or Griddle

Method
 

  1. Add all the dry ingredients such as flour, baking powder, sugar and salt to a mixing bowl.
  2. Then add in the egg, melted butter, and milk.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Heat a pan, a skillet or griddle and spray with margarine or vegetable oil.
  5. Pour or squirt the mixture onto the griddle.
  6. Cook for 1 minute and flip it upside down and cook other side too until both sides are golden-brown.
  7. When the pancakes are done, lay them on a tray and place them in the freezer.
  8. Once they are completely frozen you can place them in a freezer-safe bag or container. Label the bag with the date and item. 
  9. Whenever you need a quick breakfast just pull out a few and microwave them. I usually do around 8-10 minis for about 30 seconds.
