I love finding those simple tricks that save you so much money. There are so many things you can do to save money, but some can really take so much of your time. This easy DIY foaming body wash will save you money, and only take a few seconds to do.

It started when I first made my DIY foaming hand soap. I have been so happy with it and I started to wonder how body wash would do with the foaming? I figured if I can use just 1/4 of the body wash that I currently use, it would really be a fantastic way to save money.

You will need to start with an empty foaming soap container. Mine was just a Dial hand soap container I had from the drugstore. You can buy them on Amazon if you don't have one at home. Then use some body wash to fill the container about 1/4 of the way. I wouldn't recommend using a heavy cream body wash, it may not work real well in the pump.

Once you have the body wash in the container. fill it the rest of the way up with water. Give the container a shake to get it all mixed up and then you are good to go.

Just pump it once or twice onto a wash cloth or a body wash pouf and use like you normally use your body wash. This is a perfect solution for kids that use way too much body wash.

I do this with hand soap, but it never occurred to me to try it with body wash. Do you feel like you still get a good lather?

I think I should try it for my almost 7 year old. Bless his heart, he tries not to use a lot of soap, but does anyway. This would help!

I feel like I get a good lather, but I use a shower poof for extra lather. I also use it in place of shaving cream on my legs. It would be prefect for kiddos that overestimate how much they need. 🙂
