I am all about saving money any place I can find. Recently, despite trying to lower it, I have noticed my grocery bill getting higher and higher. Normally I try for under $50 a week but I have been seeing more and more $65-$70 dollar weeks. As an avid reader of Money Saving Mom, I knew she offered a course called Grocery University. I decided to sign up for the class and I was amazed at the results!
What is Grocery University? It's a 2 hour and 19-minute audio course to teach you how to save on your grocery bill. It also has a 40-page workbook and a rock bottom price database. The best part is it's only $9.97 and has a 60-day money back guarantee. With the money back guarantee in mind, I figured I had nothing to lose.
Within a few minutes of purchasing Grocery University, I was hanging out listening to it and taking notes. It was so easy to listen to. It was broken up into 19 smaller courses so I was able to split the sections and listen to them over 3 days. There was nothing to read and it was all very easy to understand. There are tips on meal planning, stockpiling, and even on eating healthier on a budget.
One of my favorite things about the course was it was all about saving money on what YOU want to buy. I hate when someone suggests you just eat beans and rice all of the time. Grocery University was all about buying what you like and still saving money. I also loved that you can start saving right away. I saved money that first week.
The only negatives for me were that about half the class was coupons and saving money with coupons. Although I used to be a crazy couponer I no longer use them much anymore. I will clip or print a coupon if I know I am going to use it, but I would guess on most shopping trips I use 1 coupon at most. Because I am not really interested in using a lot of coupons I skipped over some of the sections.
So can Grocery University really save you money? Yes! I more than made back my $9.97 in the first week or two of shopping and that was without using coupons or following the coupon tips from the audio course. I think most people could easily make back the money they spent in under a week or two. I loved that it helped me trim my budget back to where it needs to be. Plus, my husband was super happy with a few of the recipes I came up with using Grocery University tips.
If you are wanting to save money this year on your grocery budget Grocery University would be perfect for you. It's an easy and quick way to really help you drop your budget. If you aren't big on couponing you can easily just skip the lessons that have the couponing tips. I was able to drop my grocery bill down under $50 without using coupons. There is a great money back guarantee so you have nothing to lose! To sign up and save this year just go here. You will be saving money in no time at all.

how many people are you feeding for that fifty dollars a week ?

We have two adults and one teenage boy. I am sure larger families would need more money for their grocery bill.

We are two adults and one teenage boy, too, and that teenage boy definitely makes the food bill grow. 🙂

I've never heard of grocery university before, which is shocking because I'm an avid reader of MSM. That's such an amazing price though! Most courses these days are in the hundreds. It's nice to see a helpful course in the $10 range.

I agree! The $10 range was just the perfect price. I hate the idea of spending a bunch of money in the hopes of saving money.
